Make a logo for free and download it as SVG and PNG
Most online logo makers let you design for free and then ask you to pay to download. Logo Maker doesn't: you type your business name, pick an industry, choose one of the ideas, edit it, and download a vector SVG, a transparent PNG and a brand kit, with no account and no watermark. It's a free alternative to Looka for small businesses, side projects and student work, and it runs entirely in your browser.
Step by step
- Open Logo Maker. Type your Business name, an optional Slogan, and pick an Industry (food and drink, tech, health, beauty, education, real estate, finance, travel and more).
- Press Show logo ideas. You get 24 ideas. Press More ideas (or M) for a new set; changing the industry also brings new ideas.
- Click the idea you like best to open the editor.
- Under Text, change the name, slogan, font (Inter, serif or monospace), weight, letter case, letter spacing and the space between the parts.
- Under Symbol, choose the layout (symbol left, symbol above, badge, initials, text only or symbol only), the shape around the symbol (circle, rounded square, hexagon, shield, diamond or none), filled or outline, an accent dot or underline, the line weight, the size, and the symbol itself from the icon grid.
- Under Colours, click a palette or set the background, symbol, accent and text colours yourself. Check the logo on Light, Dark and Transparent backgrounds with the buttons under the preview.
- Press Download for a PNG (512 to 4096 pixels wide, transparent or with background) or an SVG. Press Brand kit for a brand sheet and a ZIP with icons for your website and social media.
- Press Save to My logos to keep the design in this browser and come back to it later. Ctrl+Z undoes a change.
Who it helps
- New small businesses (a bakery, a salon, a repair shop) that need a clean logo for a sign, a menu or an Instagram profile this week, without a design budget.
- Students and clubs who need a logo for a project, a team or an event.
- Developers and makers who need a quick mark and a favicon set for a side project or an app.
- Arabic-speaking businesses: Arabic names display right to left in the preview and the PNG.
What's in the brand kit
The brand sheet shows your logo on its own colour, on white and on dark, the symbol on its own, your four colours with HEX and RGB codes, and the fonts used. The ZIP adds the logo as SVG and a 2048 pixel PNG, the symbol as SVG and as PNG icons at 16, 32, 48, 180 (for Apple devices), 192 and 512 pixels, a 1080 pixel square profile picture and a 1500 by 500 banner.
Why it's private
Logo Maker is a static page. Your business name and designs stay in your browser on your device; the images and files are made by your browser and are never uploaded. The page's security policy blocks it from sending data to other websites.
Tips and limits
- Not AI. Ideas are built from our own set of over 60 line icons, 20 palettes, six layouts and a few type styles. That keeps logos simple and readable, but it isn't a custom illustration.
- Fonts. Inter comes with the page in weights from Light to Black. Serif and monospace use your device's fonts, so they can differ slightly between computers.
- SVG text. The SVG keeps your name as real text you can edit in a design program. To see it exactly right there, install Inter (it's free) or use the PNG.
- Check before trademarking. Simple logos built from common shapes can resemble existing ones.
- Small sizes. For favicons, use the symbol-only icons from the brand kit; a full name won't be readable at 16 pixels.
FAQ
Is the download really free?
Yes. SVG, PNG in any size up to 4096 pixels, transparent backgrounds and the brand kit ZIP are all free, with no watermark and no account.
Is it an AI logo generator?
No. The ideas are combinations of a built-in set of line icons, shapes, layouts, colour palettes and type styles, chosen to suit the industry you pick. You then edit the one you like.
Can I use the logo for my business?
You can use what you make. Because ideas are built from simple shared parts, a logo can look like someone else's, so check before you register it as a trademark.
Why does my SVG look different in another program?
The SVG keeps the name as editable text. Programs show it in the named font only if it is installed. Inter is a free font you can install; the PNG always looks exactly like the preview.
Does it work with Arabic names?
Yes. Arabic names are drawn right to left with your device's Arabic font, in the preview and in the PNG.
